ICEVision Features:
Ease of use - The ICEVision screen provides a convenient operator interface for selecting video sources, setting image parameters including lighting levels, testing and evaluating targets, and other functions.
Centralized camera control - ICEVision is the only application needed regardless of the type of camera being used – it is capable of capturing information and sub-images from OCR, Microscope, and Alignment Cameras. ICEVision can accommodate up to four NTSC video inputs.
Displayed images - The ICEVision screen includes three video-image windows: a large Live-Video window, the Capture Target window, and the Histogram window. The Target window displays the stored image the system is using as the target, while the Histogram window is an aid designed to provide feedback about the composition of the image shown in the blue square within the Live- Video Window.
Straightforward navigation - The Wafer Navigator tool provides a convenient method for gross wafer navigation. Clicking on a location on the wafer icon in the Wafer Navigator will cause ICEVision to move the wafer so that wafer area will be under the camera.
Image control - When selecting image pattern targets, the image must be “tuned” to yield the best possible image. The controls available to perform this tuning are the four Image-Parameter slide bars located in the lower center section of the ICEVision screen. The top two slide bars control the intensity of light directed to the wafer from the two light sources associated with the alignment camera. The lower two slide bars adjust the brightness and contrast of the digitized image.
ICEVision is a member of the ProbeCommander Software Suite of applications from Pacific Western System, Inc. ProbeCommander controls all of the elements of probing and testing systems - including imaging, positioning, alignment, stepping, mapping, lot, and data management services.
